<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the search of images in an image display device which displays a plurality of images successively. <P>SOLUTION: This image display device 100 prepares a file configuration table by inputting an image file from a memory card MC. When a search condition is set from a user, the file configuration table is searched, and the search flag of an image pertinent to the search condition is turned on. When it is detected that the page feeding button of a remote controller RC has been depressed, the image display device 100 inputs an image to be displayed next, and detects whether the image pertinent to the search condition is present in those images from the condition of the search flag of the file configuration table.
