MULTI-COLOR INKJET PRINTING METHOD AND PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method and a printer which can accomplish an improved quality of a color image without causing a substantial loss in production. SOLUTION: This is a multi-color inkjet printing method where a carriage 10 is shifted against a recording medium 14 in the main scanning direction X and in the sub scanning direction Y perpendicular to the main scanning direction. Each color is printed in a different group of a nozzle head 16 attached to the carriage 10. At least one of the colors is printed with more nozzle heads K1-K4 than other colors. And the at least one color is printed in a higher printing resolution than other colors in the main scanning direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
