PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle reversing auxiliary apparatus capable of displaying an image in a vehicle reversing direction on a monitor in response to a steering wheel operating direction even if using a back view camera with a narrow visual field and then allowing a driver to recognize an obstacle or the like on a reversing pathway in real time at the operation of a steering wheel. SOLUTION: The vehicle reversing auxiliary apparatus is provided with: the back view camera 2 for imaging the backside of a vehicle 1; the monitor 3 visually recognizable by the driver of the vehicle 1; a left right drive motor 4 for using an imaging direction revision means to turn the imaging direction of the monitor 3 to the right or left; a steering angle sensor 5 for detecting a steering direction and a steering angle in the case of reversing the vehicle 1; and a camera controller 6 for outputting a drive command signal to the left right drive motor 4 so as to obtain an imaging direction in response to the steering direction sensed by the steering angle sensor 5.
