PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for a speaker diaphragm with excellent acoustic characteristics suitably used for an on-vehicle speaker and a mobile phone speaker or the like. SOLUTION: The film for the speaker diaphragm is provided with a resin coating layer in which the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ, at a frequency of 1Hz, by the tension method) at room temperature of 23°C of which is greater than that of a polyetherimide, located on one side or both sides of a polyetherimide film base.
