PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile apparatus which is so flexible that an incoming call notification destination can be changed on the basis of various circumstances such as intra-workplace personnel changes or a business trip. SOLUTION: In this facsimile apparatus, a temporary notification period of an incoming call is set, and an incoming call notification destination different from the above incoming call notification destination is set, corresponding to the temporary notification period. The facsimile apparatus is provided with an incoming call notification destination changing means for notifying the latter destination about the incoming call when facsimile reception is performed during a period set by a temporary notification period setting means, and notifying the former destination about the incoming call when facsimile reception is performed during the period other than the set period.
