摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that personal identification is incomplete since acceleration is small only by horizontal acceleration even when trying to perform the personal identification of a human being by merging the moving image processing result from an image of a TV camera mounted on the ceiling and information of an acceleration sensor mounted on the human being. SOLUTION: In the present invention, attention is paid to the vertical motion of a comparatively great numerical value among human motions. On the basis of a camera image from a stereo camera from the transverse direction, the vertical acceleration caused by walking of the human being, is detected by moving image processing, and (uniaxial) information of the vertical acceleration sensor mounted on the human being is merged to perform the personal identification of the projected human being. Further, information of triaxial acceleration and a triaxial motion extracted from the TV camera are collated with the horizontal (biaxial) acceleration, thereby more accurately identifying every individual out of a number of moving human beings.
