PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction vehicle, preventing a suction hose from being bent in tilting a recovery hopper, discharging sediment from a high position to facilitate transferring to a dump truck, and reduced in size. SOLUTION: A sediment recovery hopper 5 is disposed on a chassis 2 to tilt sideways. In the hopper 5, an inclined side 28 is an upward slope directing from the bottom toward the tilting direction, and the upper position of the inclined side 28 is supported on the upper end of a column 17 erected on the chassis 2 to rotate around the axis in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The terminal end of the suction hose 37 is held on the chassis 2 by a suction hose holding member 38, the inclined connecting end face 39a of the terminal end of the suction hose 37 and the inclined connecting end face 36a of a connecting part 36 of the hopper 5 are separated from each other when the hopper 5 tilts to the sediment discharge position, and they are automatically connected when the hopper is returned from the sediment discharge position to the sediment recovery position.
