PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skew preventive device for a recording medium, a two-sided recording device, and a two-sided liquid jetting device, in which the two-sided recording device includes a sheet transporting mechanism and a roller for preventing each sheet of paper from skewing is controlled by using part of the sheet transporting mechanism. SOLUTION: A control device according to the invention controls so that while an epicyclic mechanism is in idling, the skewed condition of the sheet is eliminated by rotating a feed drive roller 15 reversely in the condition that the sheet P is pinched by a stopped drive roller 45 located directly in front and a follower roller 51 located directly in front, and then the feed drive roller 15 is rotated in the regular direction to transport the inverted sheet to the recording part.
