PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection fixing structure of a pivot holder, a module type electric windshield wiper device, and a connection fixing method of a pivot holder which deforms a frame with small caulking pressure and stably and rigidly fixes the pivot holder and the frame without play when the pivot holder is connected and fixed to the frame. SOLUTION: An indentation part 40 for caulking is formed at a connection part 36 of a pivot holder, and an opening 52 is formed at a joint part 44 of a connection frame in advance and pressurized by a punch P with diameter dimension D larger than diameter dimension d1 of the opening 52 before caulking, so that a projection fit part 48 is projected, plastically deformed, fitted, connected and fixed in the indentation part 40. Thus, tension due to a material itself is reduced, and projection plastic deformation is hardly avoided. This enables deformation with small caulking pressure, and restrains return after projection plastic deformation, so that the connection frame and the pivot holder are stably and rigidly fixed to each other without play.
