PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of low frequency booming noises caused by insufficiency of rigidity of a coupling part or a contact part of a spare tire and a tire pan in a spare tire storing device for a vehicle for storing the spare tire into the tire pan in a transversely installed state. SOLUTION: Supporting materials 7 are erected at almost equal intervals along a circumference 4 of the same diameter as that of a rim of the spare tire 1 in a vertical direction at three portions in the vehicle body side tire pan 8. In a stored state of the spare tire 1, a load of the spare tire 1 is received by the supporting materials 7 by supporting the rim by the supporting materials 7. A rubber tire 3 is separated from the tire pan 8. By fastening a center of a wheel 2 of the spare tire 1 with a bolt 12 for fixing, the wheel 2 is fixed by being pushed on the tire pan 8 and the supporting materials 7 sides. As a result, coupling rigidity of the spare tire 1 and the tire pan 8 is increased, and thereby generation of the low frequency booming noises caused by insufficiency of rigidity at the portion is prevented.
