PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a clogging of ball at a ball downstream port of a storage tank and perform a smooth flowing-down of ball to a subsequent stage by applying a pressure reducing structure for reducing a ball pressure concentrated at the ball downstream port at the storage tank itself. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a storage tank in which a large number of stored balls are rolled to move by their own weight. There is provided a narrow part where a width at the side surface is gradually narrowed toward the ball downstream port. An interface between the bottom surface of the narrow part and an inner side surface raised from the bottom surface is formed into a curved surface having a larger curvature than that of a spherical surface of the ball to avoid any clogging of the ball there.
