STRUCTURE FOR INSTALLING HEXAGONAL ENVIRONMENT BLOCK WITH FRP PINS TO PROTECT ECOSYSTEM OF RIVER

PURPOSE: An installation structure of a hexagonal environment block for protecting an ecosystem of a river is provided to protect the natural environment and to preserve the underwater ecosystem by forming the environment-friendly revetment block around the river. CONSTITUTION: Hexagonal environment blocks(200) are installed at both sides of a river to protect the ecosystem by supplying the spawning ground and the habitat under water. Hexagonal environment blocks are stacked in the upper part of an inverse T-shaped concrete foundation(100) mounted at both sides of the river, and connected longitudinally by fiberglass reinforced plastic pins(300). The hexagonal environment block is composed of circular holes for moving fishes, and side block assembling holes. The side block assembling holes of the hexagonal environment blocks are connected by the fiberglass reinforced plastic pins.
