<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph-like inkjet recording medium comprising a paper substrate with excellent wettability in which an undercoat layer is unnecessary for coating an ink receiving layer by mixing a hydroxyl group-containing hydrogenated petroleum resin into a polyolefin resin layer covering a substrate paper face. <P>SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording medium, a paper comprising natural pulp as a main component is used as the substrate, and one substrate surface is coated with a film-forming resin, and the other substrate surface which is the opposite side thereof and on which the ink receiving layer is provided is coated with the polyolefin resin layer. The hydroxyl group-containing hydrogenated petroleum resin of 6-14 mass% with a softening point of ≥120°C is mixed in the polyolefin resin layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
