<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve failure prediction precision in a remote failure prediction system. <P>SOLUTION: In this remote failure prediction system, a failure prediction server 100 connects with a vehicle 110 that is an object of failure prediction through a network, and predicts whether or not a failure occurs in the vehicle 110 in near future by use of vehicle data before failure occurrence preliminarily acquired from a disabled vehicle 111. Concretely, vehicle data from the vehicle 110 are received, and the received vehicle data are correlation-computed with the vehicle data of the disabled vehicle. If the both have a fixed correlation, the occurrence of the same failure as the disabled vehicle is conceivable.
