<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a cathodic protection electrode body in which the electrode body can be easily installed in a structure, in particular, a central part of a large structure. <P>SOLUTION: A cathodic protection electrode body is installed to perform cathodic protection of an underground-embedded member 58 of a structure 52. An embedding hole extends underground in the horizontal direction, and the cathodic protection electrode body is embedded in the embedding hole. The embedding hole is excavated by using a non-cut-and-cover excavator 32, and the cathodic protection electrode body (or a protective tube thereof) is embedded in the embedding hole during the excavation of a drill head 36 of the non-cut-and-cover excavator 32, or when the drill head 36 is returned after the excavation of the drill head 36. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
