<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lightweight AC commutator generator at a low cost by making a frequency constant when power is generated and decreasing the number of regulators and controllers as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A field winding 1 is connected with an AC power supply, commutator segments 71 forming a commutator 7 are arranged tubularly while imparting a skew in the axial direction, a brush 8 is arranged to move relatively to a rotor 6 along the axial direction while touching the commutator 7, and the brush 8 is connected with an AC output end different from the AC power supply. A skew angle of each commutator segment 71 is determined such that the number of commutator segments touching the brush 8 causes a difference of 90°or larger in the electric angle of a rotor winding 4 connected with the commutator segment 71 under a state that the brush 8 moves within a moving range in the axial direction thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
