PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift controller of a transmission in which a gear change time is comparatively shortened, and a shock due to putting in gear is reduced. SOLUTION: The shift controller of the transmission reduces the speed of a shift stroke at least from a ramp range 1 which is located directly before the position where gears of the transmission synchronizes with each other, to a ramp range 2 located at the position where the gears of the transmission is completed to synchronize with each other; and from a ramp range 3 located at the position directly before the gears of the transmission engage, to a ramp range 4 located at the position where the transmission is completed to engage the gears, when changing the gears by shifting the shift position of the transmission corresponding to the operation position of a shift lever slower than the moving speed in the other shift position.
