PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the power transmission mechanism of a mower, with which an output shaft of an engine, an input shaft of a transmission (traveling part) and an input shaft of a reaping apparatus are horizontally projected, belts are stretched over them so that the change of the belts and maintenance are facilitated in the states of the belts exposed to the side parts of a vehicle. SOLUTION: In the mower with which a reaping apparatus for mowing is vertically movably arranged at the under side of a traveling machine body, the engine 4 is loaded on the rear part of the vehicle, the output shaft 16 is horizontally projected from the engine 4 to the rear of the vehicle, the input shaft 20 of the traveling part is horizontally projected in parallel with the output shaft 16 of the engine, the input shaft 22 of the reaping apparatus is horizontally projected in parallel with the output shaft 16 of the engine and the power transmission belts 18 and 19 are stretched from the output shaft of the engine over each input shaft.
