PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and user-friendly power receptacle, capable of pulling off /inserting without requiring power. SOLUTION: The power receptacle comprises an open/close mechanism in which a blade 13 is inserted while contact plates 20 are in open state, the contact plates 20 are automatically closed when the blade 13 is inserted, and the blade 13 is pulled off while the contact plates 20 are in open state.
