PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the lid mounting device of an automatic beverage vending machine capable of enhancing the reliability of mounting a lid on a cup, shortening the time for selling, and downsized. SOLUTION: The lid mounting device 2 of the automatic beverage vending machine, which mounts the lid L on the cup C filled with beverage in selling, is provided with: a lid storage unit 10 for storing a plurality of lids L; a lid ejecting mechanism 11 for ejecting the lids L one by one from the lid storage unit 10 to the downward direction; a lid carrying mechanism 35 for carrying the ejected lid L to the opening of the cup C with beverage vertically to the downward direction; and a lid pressurizing mechanism 70 for mounting the carried lid L to the downward direction to mount the lid L on the cup C filled with beverage.
