PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively fit and fix a grating into a recessed groove formed on the surface of a side ditch. SOLUTION: This drainage structure in the side ditch is formed of a combination of a side ditch block 1 with a waterway 2 passing through an inner bottom and with a recessed groove 3 formed on the upper surface to fit the grating and further with slits 4 intermittently cut between the waterway 2 and the recessed groove 3, and the grating 6 rotatably fitted with U-shaped hooks 7. The grating 6 is fixed to the recessed groove 3 by locking the tip 7b of the hook 7 to a portion 5 not formed with the slit 4, of the side ditch block 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
