METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYIMIDE RESIN POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing polyimide resin powder having an imidation ratio sufficiently high for practical purpose. SOLUTION: A solution containing a polyamic acid is imidated to obtain a solution containing a solubilized polyimide resin and the powder of the polyimide resin is extracted from the solution to obtain the polyimide resin powder. The process is carried out by chemically performing the imidation and using a solvent having a water content of≤500 ppm as the solvent for extracting the powder. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
