PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft polymer having polyolefin segments and exhibiting good moldability, which has various polyolefins, not limited to a polypropylene polymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) and obtained by living polymerization, introduced into its side chains, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The graft polymer is obtained by polymerizing a polyolefin macromonomer (A) having a styryl group at the end of a polyolefin chain P represented by general formula (I) [wherein W is a heteroatom or a heteroatom-containing group; and P is a polymer chain obtained by homopolymerizing or copolymerizing an olefin represented by CH<SB>2</SB>=CHR<SP>1</SP>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-20C hydrocarbon group, a hydrogen atom, or a halogen atom)] or by copolymerizing the polyolefin macromonomer (A) with at least one monomer (B) selected from organic compounds having at least one carbon-carbon unsaturated bond.
