A method for fitting cladding around a furnace insulation wrapped module fitted with horizontal support strips (7) at the top of the module and onto which are hung lipped side panels (4). A lipped top panel completes the fitting. The bottom flanges of the side panels are provided with hooked tags, with the hooks on each panel aligned in one direction, to clip onto retaining tags provided at the bottom edges of the cast structure of the furnace chamber. No separate bottom panel is required.
