The wooden building frame is made of plywood beams (1) with multiple layers (2,3) which are arranged in cross wise orientations so that their grains extend parallel and perpendicular to the length of the beam. The sections of the plywood layers with parallel and perpendicular grains provide a static stability and required compressive and tension strengths. The plywood layers are glued together. The layers can have a similar thickness and there can be equal numbers of parallel and perpendicular layers.
|
