PURPOSE: A humidity sensor having a polymeric membrane is provided to obtain the humidity sensor having high density base by cross-linking copolymer of vinyl monomer and vinyl comonomer with dehaloalkane through quaternary chlorination. CONSTITUTION: A humidity sensor includes a humidity sensing membrane, an electrode, an electrode snap and a terminal. The electrode electrically makes contact with the humidity sensing membrane. The electrode snap fixes the electrode. The electrode is connected to an external device through the terminal. The humidity sensor is formed by cross-linking copolymer of vinyl monomer and vinyl comonomer with dehaloalkane through quaternary chlorination. The vinyl monomer includes quaternary ammonium salt and triple reactive amine radical in one molecule.
