<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scatter in a pump drive loss and a discharge hydraulic pressure at a high revolution of an engine by preventing cost, weight and setting space as an oil pump driven by the engine from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: A required pump rotational frequency NR is calculated based on an oil temperature, and it is checked whether the real rotational frequency N of the oil pump reaches the required pump rotational frequency NR. As a result, in the case of N<NR, a clutch mechanism is made into a direct coupling condition. In the case of N≥NR, the oil pump rotational frequency is controlled to set the pump rotational frequency as the rotational frequency to give a target discharge pressure PR by slip-controlling the clutch mechanism. This prevents cost, weight and setting space as the pump driven by the engine from being increased. Even when the engine rotational frequency exceeds the required pump rotational frequency, the discharge pressure is maintained to the target discharge pressure PR to reduce the scatter in the pump drive loss and the discharged hydraulic pressure at the high revolution of the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
