<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistive touch screen which is easy to manufacture, planned to reduce cost, and expands an effective area. <P>SOLUTION: The touch screen includes a transparent substrate which defines a touch area; a first conductive material layer which is formed on the transparent substrate and extended to whole area of the touch area, an electric connection to the first conductive material layer, a transparent flexible cover sheet, a second conductive material layer formed on the transparent flexible cover sheet, and an electric connection to the second conducive material layer. Installation of the cover sheet with distance from the substrate causes occurrence of electric contact between the first conductive material layer and the second conductive material layer, when the touch area is touched, and at least one of the first conductive material layer or the second conductive material layer has a variable conductivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
