PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone terminal capable of utilizing a recording area for recording speech data more effectively than before. SOLUTION: A composite machine can interrupt recording of speech data by a recording and reproducing section after recording of speech data (s130) during a period of being in an out-zone state (after s170). Thus, the recording and reproducing section 54 records no speech data for a period when voice speech is hindered due to the out-zone state so that the speech data include no wasteful region wherein voice of voice speech is not recorded thereby preventing a size of the speech data from being unnecessarily increased.
