PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of in which an album file can be more easily browsed. SOLUTION: The digital camera has a function for album registration of photographed images or the like and is provided with a display part such as an LCD 5 and a switch button (QV button) for switching display images on the display part. In response to pressing the switch button, a display target image on the display part is changed among a live view image in a photographing mode, a regenerative image relating to a data file in a reproducing mode and an album image relating to an album file in an album reproducing mode. For example, in response to pressing the switch button, the respective images are successively displayed in said order. Preferably, the regenerative image is not displayed while the photographing file is not saved, and the album image is not displayed while the album file is not registered.
