PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner provided with an outside air introduction device and capable of not only operating the air conditioner but also ventilating indoor air by connecting ducts having different diameter with a duct flange led from a rear face of a main body and passing through a wall hole easily. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is constituted in such a way that a communicating hole 2a and an air suction hole 6a are provided in an installation plate 2 and a base 6, respectively, and the duct flange 15 provided with a connection part D inserted into the wall hole C and connected to one end of the duct is attached to a peripheral fringe of the communicating hole 2a. A diffuser 23 which is provided with an end connection 20 and a communicating port 21 at one end and the other end, respectively, and in which a locking claw 22 is integrally formed in the communicating port 21 is provided between the air suction hole 6a and a rear part heat exchanger 11.
