METHOD FOR PRODUCING 2-HYDROXYCYCLOHEXANONE COMPOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a 2-hydroxycyclohexanone compound represented by formula (1) (wherein R is a 1 to 4C alkyl group or a 1 to 4C alkoxyl group; and n is an integer of 0 to 9) in high yields by crystallizing the compound within a short time into an easily handleable form. SOLUTION: The method comprises adding an acid to a solution containing the 2-hydroxycyclohexanone compound represented by formula (1) to crystallize and separate it. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
