<p>It is intended to disclose a novel fructosylamine oxidase originating in a yeast Pichia sp. and a gene encoding the same. The fructosylamine oxidase can be produced by transforming a microorganism by a recombinant vector having a DNA fragment containing the above gene integrated thereinto and culturing the thus obtained recombinant. The fructosylamine oxidase thus produced oxidizes fructosylvaline as a substrate and, therefore, is usable in analyzing fructosylvaline. An assay kit and an enzyme sensor using this fructosylamine oxidase are useful in assaying glycohemoglobin.</p> |
