<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the characteristics of a completed transformer are varied due to a core material, dimensional error, and the like, and a solution for enhancing the machining precision of the core or preparing several kinds of core of different dimensions causes cost increase. <P>SOLUTION: First and second cores 50 and 60 are provided. The first core 50 is provided with a central leg 53 having a cross-section of irregular circle, the second core 60 is provided with two intermediate legs 62 located at an equal distance from the central leg 53 through an air gap, and a large diameter part 62a stretching sideways is formed at the forward end of each intermediate leg 62.
