PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an activity improving apparatus for a degraded honeycomb catalyst in which the activity of the degraded honeycomb catalyst is improved without detaching a unit body of the degraded honeycomb catalyst from a catalytic reactor.

SOLUTION: In this activity improving apparatus for the degraded honeycomb catalyst for improving the activity of the degraded honeycomb catalyst by removing dust stuck on the inside of a cell of a honeycomb catalyst with a liquid, an atmospheric opening port 9 for exhausting air in a hollow body 1 to reduce to the atmospheric pressure is provided in the hollow body 1 and a plurality of holes 10 for making the liquid flow down into the cell of the degraded catalyst are arranged on the bottom part of the hollow body 1.
