<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support the body, allow a user to easily move from a side by opening an armrest and prevent unintended rotation by generally locking a rotatable seat part. <P>SOLUTION: This bathroom chair 1 comprises the seat part 3 attached to legs 2, a backrest 4 attached to the legs 2 or the seat part 3 via arms 47 and a pair of armrests 5 attached to the backrest 4. The armrests 5 are constituted turnably about a horizontal axis relative to the backrest 4 from an approximately horizontal working position frontward projecting from the both sides of the backrest 4 to the moving position where the upper part sides of the seat part 3 are opened.
