PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical component of long life and its manufacturing method capable of equalizing the structure in the surface of component made from precipitation hardening type stainless steel and exhibiting the mechanical characteristic stably.

SOLUTION: The surface of an inner ring of the rolling bearing is worked by a working ratio of not less than 9, and the fluctuation of hardness on the surface is kept within Hv 50.
