PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal provided with an imaging apparatus for enabling automatic switching control in an imaging mode so as to simplify operations at imaging. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal (mobile phone) 1 provided with the imaging apparatus including an imaging element 20 having a photoelectric conversion section 21, and a lens 32 for forming an object image to the photoelectric conversion section 21, includes: an aperture means (a liquid crystal window 100 and an aperture setting program c4) for adjusting an amount of light incident to the imaging apparatus 16 to attain a close shot; and a control means (CPU 11a) for controlling the aperture means on the basis of image data acquired from the imaging apparatus 16 to automatically switch an ordinary imaging mode for carrying out ordinary imaging into a near shot mode for carrying out the near shot.
