摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub with enhanced reliability of automatic recovery from an abnormity state into a normal state. SOLUTION: The switching hub 1 is provided with: a port part 116 with a plurality of ports to / from which a signal is inputted / outputted; a PHY section 114 for converting the signal into a coded code; a switching IC section 113 for outputting the signal to other port in response to the coded code; a CPU section 111 for controlling each section in the hub 1; a watchdog timer 115 for detecting occurrence of abnormity of the CPU section 111; a power supply section 12 for supplying power to each section in the hub 1; and a relay section 13 for controlling supply of power by the power supply section 12 in response to a received control signal, and the watchdog timer 115 stops the supply of power by the power supply section 12 and outputs a control signal used to start the supply of power to the relay section 13 when detecting the abnormity of the CPU section 111.
