OBJECTIVE LENS DRIVING-GEAR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a disk of a small diameter by reducing the size in the radial direction of an objective lens driving-gear which makes driving in a tilt direction possible. SOLUTION: The driving means of the objective lens driving-gear is equipped with the tracking coils which have winding axes approximately parallel with the tangent direction of information tracks mutually perpendicular to the optical axis direction perpendicular to a disk-shaped recording medium and a radial direction and magnetic circuits for imparting magnetic fields for generating electromagnetic force in the tracking coils. The tracking coils have a coil linear motion section arranged approximately parallel with the optical axis direction to rectilinearly drive a lens holder to a radial direction and a coil rotation section arranged approximately parallel to the radial direction to rotationally drive the lens holder around the tangent direction.
