PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rim locking mechanism of a spectacle frame, which is excellent in mechanical strength and durability and can be made small. SOLUTION: Screw holes 15 that a fixing screw 4 engages are bored in an upper material 11a and a lower material 11b of a rim lock so as to extend almost in parallel to join the surfaces of the joints 2a and 2b of the upper rim 1a and lower rim 1b. Further, a receiving groove which is downward open and nearly rectangular in side elevation view is formed on the upper member 11a and a projection part 14 which projects upward to be fitted in the receiving groove 13 and is nearly rectangular in side elevation view is formed on the lower member 11b.
