PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector which can be used by simply suspending it even in a narrow place without using installation works and to provide a projector suspending method. SOLUTION: In the method for suspending the projector 21 having a power supply tool 24 which can be connected to a power supply 23 for a lamp set on a ceiling 22 and can be suspended, the power supply tool 24 is connected to the power supply 23 for the lamp to attach the projector, so that the projector 21 can be suspended from the ceiling 22 without requiring installation works and power can be supplied to the inside of the projector 21 through the power supply tool 24.
