PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having improved sensitivity and graininess without impairing image sharpness and pressure resistance. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material includes one or more each of blue-, green- and red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers on a support, and contains one or more compounds represented by formula (1) in the blue-sensitive emulsion layer, wherein one or more of the silver halide emulsion layers comprise a photosensitive silver halide emulsion in which≥50% of the total number of silver halide grains is occupied by tabular grains having≥10 dislocation lines and a core portion (1) comprising silver iodobromide or silver chloroiodobromide having (111) faces as principal surfaces; (2) having a circle-equivalent diameter of≥1.0μm and a grain thickness of≤0.15μm; and (3) comprising silver iodobromide having no tree-ring structure and a thickness of≤0.1μm. In the formula, Q is a group of nonmetal atoms forming a 5- to 7-membered ring in combination with -N=C-N(R1)-; R1 is a substituent; R2 is a substituent; m is an integer of 0-5; when m is≥2, a plurality of symbols R2 can be the same or different and can bond to each other to form a ring; and X represents H or a group which can be released by a coupling reaction with the oxidized body of a developing agent.
