PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive inkjet head which can be stably connected with an external circuit with a low connection resistance even if the pitch of an ink chamber array is made narrower, which has excellent environmental reliability, and which enables high-speed printing. SOLUTION: An electrode 11 for connecting the external circuit is used for connecting a driving electrode 25, which is provided in a bulkhead 24 for partitioning both sides of each of ink chambers 22 formed like a plurality rows of grooves, to the external circuit. The electrode 11 is formed on an exposed surface, at the rear end of the head, of a conductive material 10 which is infilled into each of the ink chambers 22. The exposed surface has a larger area than the cross-sectional area of the ink chamber in a direction orthogonal to the ink chamber array. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
