PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner pole for a vehicle free to adjust its length and to secure safety in an outer appearance. SOLUTION: This corner pole 1 for the vehicle is furnished with a multistage type expansion member 10 constituted by fitting an inner cylinder 11 and an outer cylinder 12 different in diameter on each other free to slide and a cover member 20 provided on an outside lower part of the expansion member 10, and it is constituted to store a joint part formed by fitting the inner cylinder 11 and the outer cylinder 12 on each other in the inside of the cover member 20.
