PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the original shape by preventing the crushing and runoff of mastic sealer applied between an inner member and an outer member when batch tank type pretreatment and electrodeposition coating are performed. SOLUTION: An expandable sheet 22 is disposed on a part adjacent to the mastic sealer applied between a door panel 14 and a side beam 12a (12b). The expandable sheet 22 has one side surface covered with a heat resistant film 20 and is made of a caulking type sealer material having such a property that the sealer is expanded and increases the volume only by a small amount in accordance with a gap maintenance size of the mastic sealer 18 but is not solidified when the sealer is heated.
