PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small ultrasonic endoscope superior in an assembling characteristic, and superior in easiness-to-use. SOLUTION: The rear end of a flexible shaft 31 being a rotational driving shaft inserted into a universal cord 4 extended from a control section, is housed in a groove part of a slider part 38 for constituting a motor unit 41 by installing a columnar member 37. This slider part 38 is arranged in parallel to a motor 32, and mutual both rotary shafts of the slider part 38 and the motor 32 are connected by a belt 39. This belt 39 side is put on the scope connector 5 side, and the motor unit 41 is formed as a structure easily installable in a frame 34 of the scope connector 5. The scope connector 5 can also be miniaturized by easily installing a base board unit 50 provided with a processing circuit such as a servo system of the motor 32 in the frame 34 separately from the motor unit 41.
