PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of involving a risk that, when a toilet seat is detached for cleaning the toilet seat just as is, a user or a third person may touch a connecting part of a power supply in a body side. SOLUTION: This sanitary cleaning device is provided with a heating means 6 heating a toilet seat 4, a toilet seat attachment/detachment detecting means 8 detecting whether or not the toilet seat 4 is attached to the body 3, and a power shutoff means 9 shutting off the power supply to the body 3, when the toilet seat attachment/detachment detecting means 8 detects that the toilet seat 4 is removed from the body 3.
