Radio reception short rod aerial for car consists of plastics rod (1) over which is coiled conductive wire. On car body outside is fitted aerial socket for rod, whose socket side end, forming feed terminal of passive element is fitted with metal sleeve (2).The sleeve is coupled both to coiled wire and to forwarding networks. Sleeve contains members (6) for mechanical fastening and electric coupling in holder of aerial socket. At level of seleve, rod is so shaped, as to deflect laterally under impact.
