PURPOSE: A ball type clamp for clamping a platform of self-elevating barge is provided to clamp the platform of self-elevating barge firmly in position by arranging balls in the contacting part with a post. CONSTITUTION: A ball type clamp for clamping a platform of self-elevating barge comprises a couple of ring-shaped guide(310) for surrounding a post and guiding the clamp along the post up and down; a holding part(320) between the ring-shaped guides having balls for pressing the outer part of the post; a driving part(330) for making the holding part compressed or stretched.
